## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
 * 8+ Years of experience of Electrical Product Design for Power Distribution Equipment or UPS; OR 8+ years of Data Center or Mission-Critical Design, Construction, or Operations, * Professional Engineering or Architectural License
 * Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region
 * Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production
 * Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents

## Description

* Supports the Data Center Design Engineering, Principal Engineering, and Hardware Engineering teams to design and develop innovative concepts into new products needed for power distribution for data center.
 * Lead new product design, development and work with internal teams to understand design requirements and solicit customer input.
 * Collaborate with other disciplines such as mechanical and structural engineering, reliability, QA/QC and compliance to create well thought out products.
 * Creation of designs which meet or exceed our quality requirements while delivering a return on investment.
 * Work with global suppliers and manufacturers to specify appropriate electrical equipment, devices and bill of materials.
 * Ensure compliance with federal, state and municipal requirements and building codes across different countries.
 * Prepare, Review and approval of product design and drawings including electrical bill of materials, configuration, layouts, assembly, construction and electrical wiring drawings.
 * Define project scope and provide technical support for information requests prior to, and during manufacturing phases.
 * Work with field engineering and commissioning teams to properly set up test processes and validate installation, operation, and performance of electrical products.
 * Ability to work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical regions.
 * Be a leader within the group as well as within internal and external teams that support the data center.
