## About the Role

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
 * 8+ years of experience in:
 + Power Electronics
 + Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
 + Semiconductor applications
 * Strong expertise in:
 + System-level power conversion architectures
 + Inverters, converters, and grid-connected systems
 + Semiconductor technologies including Si, SiC, and GaN
 * Experience collaborating across customers, Product Management, and R&D.
 * Demonstrated success influencing technical direction with OEMs or strategic customers.
 * Expertise with multi-level inverter topologies (NPC, ANPC, etc.)., * Experience with utility-scale BESS or Power Conversion Systems (PCS).
 * Knowledge of Solid State Transformers (SST) or next-generation energy conversion technologies.
 * Experience developing system architectures or application roadmaps.
 * Proficiency with PLECS, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar modeling tools.
 * Familiarity with standards such as UL 9540, UL 1741, IEC 62933, and grid interconnection requirements.
 * Experience presenting at technical conferences or publishing industry papers.

## Description

* Define and evolve system-level architectures for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), including:
 + Power Conversion Systems (PCS)
 + Inverter topologies
 + Protection strategies
 + Emerging Solid State Transformer (SST) designs
 * Translate customer requirements, market trends, and competitive insights into scalable solution roadmaps.
 * Partner with Product Management and R&D to define future semiconductor product requirements.
 * Serve as the technical authority during customer engagements with OEMs and system designers.
 * Develop reference architectures, technical collateral, and solution blueprints.
 * Support Application Engineering and Field Application Engineers on complex customer challenges.
 * Influence technology strategy, design wins, and long-term business growth.
 * Represent Littelfuse through technical presentations, publications, and industry conferences.
