 * Ability to lift 50 lbs. (the occasional server) and work in both a lab and data center environment, * Fundamental Windows systems administration - Install Operating System, connect to a network, create a user, debug basic software function and installation problems, etc.
 * TCP/IP network fundamentals - Function of an IP address, Netmask, broadcast address, etc.
 * Fundamental understanding of PC hardware
 * Excellent written and verbal communications skills
 * Excellent organization driving the ability to handle a high-paced work environment

## Description

In the Windows Lab Technician I role, you will blend traditional systems administration with modern Site Reliability Engineering practices, ensuring seamless provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of hardware engineering lab environments., * Support Windows servers and workstations in hardware development labs and data centers

 * Using existing automation, deploy Windows & Linux systems following established procedures
 * Install servers and similar equipment into server racks or other test fixtures
 * Install network and test-fixture cabling following established procedures
 * Function as smart-hands for remote subject matter experts
 * Resolve end-user concerns under the guidance of senior staff, * Always promotes and maintains the highest standards of customer service
 * Proactively learns and utilizes new technologies, concepts, and procedures
 * Maintains and continually develops product and application knowledge
 * Naturally champions secure processes and proselytizes best practices
