NICE TO HAVE - Salesforce Administrator and Sales Cloud Consultant certifications. - Exposure to data-enrichment and de-duplication tooling (for example ZoomInfo or RingLead). - Familiarity with order management and quote-to-cash processes ## Description We are looking for a strong Salesforce functional consultant - a configurator who builds with flows, objects, fields and security rather than primarily writing Apex. You will join our Salesforce practice and deploy on client engagements, standing up and improving Sales Cloud and wider platform capability: accounts, contacts, pipeline and the automation behind them. You will work from user stories and acceptance criteria, build cleanly and vanilla-first, and document your own testing before work moves to functional QA. Clarity, discipline and a preference for standard configuration over custom code are what make this role successful. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Configure Salesforce to deliver business capability - objects, fields, flows, page layouts, validation and the security model - with Sales Cloud a particular focus. - Build from user stories and acceptance criteria, keeping to a vanilla-first approach and flagging where custom development would genuinely be required. - Perform and document alpha and beta testing of your own configuration before it moves to functional QA and UAT. - Support data-quality, enrichment and de-duplication work, including configuration touching third-party tooling. - Collaborate with architects and cross-platform consultants to keep delivery coherent end to end. ## Related Videos - [Strategies to accelerate SaaS Application Development](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1078-strategies-to-accelerate-saas-application-development) - [Smart City, Smart Mobility](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/954-smart-city-smart-mobility) - [Coffee with Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/354-coffee-with-developers) - [DevSecOps: Injecting Security into Mobile CI/CD Pipelines](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/273-devsecops-injecting-security-into-mobile-ci-cd-pipelines) - [Seriously gaming your cloud expertise: from cloud tourist to cloud native](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/373-seriously-gaming-your-cloud-expertise-from-cloud-tourist-to-cloud-native) - [Building Better with Nuxt 3](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/320-building-better-with-nuxt-3) ## Related Articles - [What Are The Top Skills Required For Azure Developers?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/77-what-are-the-top-skills-required-for-azure-developers) - [Highest Paying Tech Companies for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/220-highest-paying-tech-companies-for-developers) - [Why Attend a Developer Event in 2026?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/688-why-attend-a-developer-event-in-2026) - [What’s the Difference between a Junior, Mid, and Senior Developer?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/238-what-s-the-difference-between-a-junior-mid-and-senior-developer) - [7 Important Tips That Every Software Developer Should Know](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/101-7-important-tips-that-every-software-developer-should-know) - [Top Must-Visit Developer Conferences in the US in 2026](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/679-top-must-visit-developer-conferences-in-the-us-in-2026)
