Candidates with experience supporting ETL/ELT development, dimensional data modeling, data profiling, metadata management, master data management (MDM), data governance, and data lineage are strongly preferred. Experience working in Agile software development environments and supporting cloud-based analytics platforms is also beneficial. This position bridges business operations and technical implementation by ensuring data is properly understood, integrated, transformed, and validated., Business Analysis & Requirements * Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational processes and reporting needs. * Conduct discovery sessions and document business requirements. * Identify business metrics, KPIs, and reporting objectives. * Translate business requirements into technical specifications. * Assist with backlog refinement and user story development. Data Discovery & Analysis * Identify and analyze enterprise data sources across multiple business systems. * Assess source system capabilities, relationships, and data quality. * Perform data profiling and gap analysis. * Document metadata, business definitions, and data lineage. * Recommend authoritative sources for enterprise reporting. Data Mapping & Integration * Develop logical and physical source-to-target mappings. * Define transformation rules and business logic. * Collaborate with Data Engineers to design ETL/ELT pipelines. * Support dimensional modeling and analytical data models. * Assist with data standardization and integration strategies. Data Validation & Quality * Validate integrated datasets against business requirements. * Perform reconciliation between source and target systems. * Support system integration testing and user acceptance testing. * Identify and resolve data quality issues. * Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
