We are seeking a Design Engineer to support the design, development, and continuous improvement of vehicle components and systems. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers while gaining hands-on experience throughout the full product development lifecycle. In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to develop innovative, reliable, and cost-effective solutions for next-generation heavy-duty vehicles. What You'll Do Mechanical Design & Product Development * Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for heavy-duty vehicle applications. * Create and modify 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and bills of materials. * Perform engineering calculations and basic design analysis to validate component performance. * Assist with material selection, component sizing, and manufacturability improvements. * Support new product development as well as enhancements to existing products. * Ensure designs comply with engineering standards, drawing practices, and company procedures. Engineering Support * Work closely with senior engineers on engineering projects and design activities. * Prepare technical documentation including reports, design packages, and presentations. * Support prototype builds, testing, and engineering change activities. * Investigate design-related issues and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions. * Provide technical support to manufacturing during product launches and production.
