## Description

The Senior DA is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, performance optimization, security, availability, and lifecycle management of enterprise database platforms supporting mission-critical applications. The role provides technical leadership for database architecture, automation, cloud migration, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and operational excellence across multiple database technologies., Database Administration & Operations

 * Manage and support large-scale production databases with 24x7 availability requirements.
 * Administer Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra and other enterprise database platforms.
 * Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, cloning, and migrations.
 * Ensure database health, availability, integrity, and performance.

Performance Tuning & Optimization

 * Analyze and optimize SQL queries, indexing strategies, execution plans, and database configurations.
 * Conduct capacity planning and resource utilization forecasting.
 * Resolve performance bottlenecks and implement proactive tuning measures.

High Availability & Disaster Recovery

 * Design and maintain HA and DR solutions.
 * Manage technologies such as:

 * Oracle Data Guard
 * RAC
 * PostgreSQL Replication
 * Cassandra Multi-DC Clusters
 * MongoDB Replica Sets/Sharding
 * Always-On Availability Groups
 * Conduct periodic DR drills and recovery testing.

Cloud & Modernization

 * Support cloud database platforms:

 * AWS RDS/Aurora
 * PostgreSQL
 * AWS DynamoDB
 * MongoDB Atlas
 * Lead database migration and modernization initiatives.

Automation & DevOps
