## Description

Vates is a French software company specializing in Open Source and virtualization, with a strong commitment to open and collaborative development. Our main projects, Xen Orchestra and XCP-ng, cover the entire virtualization stack - from the hypervisor (Xen) and the virtualization platform (XCP-ng) to virtual machine management and backup (Xen Orchestra). Our company operates in an international environment, working fully remotely, fluent English required.

Your Responsibilities:

 * Participate in the development of new backend features in line with product specifications
 * Ensure corrective and evolutionary maintenance of existing code
 * Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration)
 * Provide advanced technical support to users and internal teams
 * Contribute to the writing and updating of technical and user documentation
 * Ensure compliance with security, performance, and software quality standards
 * Participate in defining functional and technical specifications in collaboration with product teams
 * Contribute to the improvement of development tools, procedures, and practices
