## About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess an active security clearance and have a strong background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Cloud Architecture, with the following skills and experiences:

 * Proven experience in designing and implementing solutions on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
 * Experience in defining cloud strategies, architecture standards, and governance policies.
 * Ability to lead the automation of infrastructure deployment and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools.
 * Deep understanding of cloud networking, identity, security, resilience, and platform engineering.
 * Proven ability to lead technical design initiatives across multiple domains, including Data, Digital, Security, and other technical areas.
 * Familiarity with working in public sector or defence secure environments.
 * Google Professional Cloud Architect certification is highly desirable.
