## About the Role

* Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Informatik, IT-Systemadministration oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation.
 * Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in der Linux-Administration, idealerweise mit Debian, RedHat, CentOS oder anderen Distributionen.
 * Fundierte Kenntnisse in der Server- und Netzwerkadministration, sowie in Shell-Scripting (Bash, Python, etc.).
 * Erfahrung mit Webservern (Apache, Nginx), Datenbanken (MySQL, PostgreSQL) und Virtualisierungsplattformen (KVM, Docker, VMware).
 * Kenntnisse im Bereich der Netzwerkdienste (DNS, DHCP, NFS, etc.) und Firewall-Konfiguration.
 * Erfahrung mit Monitoring- und Logging-Tools (z.B. Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK-Stack).
 * Erfahrungen in der Automatisierung von Aufgaben, z.B. mit Ansible, Puppet oder Chef.
 * Sicherheitsbewusstsein und Kenntnisse in IT-Sicherheitsstandards und Firewall-Konfigurationen.
 * Gute Problemlösungsfähigkeiten sowie eine strukturierte und analytische Arbeitsweise.
 * Teamfähigkeit, Kommunikationsstärke und Bereitschaft, sich kontinuierlich weiterzubilden.

## Description

* Administration und Wartung von Linux-Servern und -Systemen.
 * Verantwortung für die Konfiguration, Überwachung und Optimierung der Serverlandschaft.
 * Installation, Konfiguration und Upgrades von Linux-Servern, Anwendungen und Services.
 * Sicherstellung der Verfügbarkeit, Performance und Sicherheit der Linux-basierten IT-Infrastruktur.
 * Fehleranalyse und Störungsbeseitigung (Troubleshooting) in der Linux-Umgebung.
 * Automatisierung von wiederkehrenden Aufgaben mittels Scripting (z.B. Bash, Python, Perl).
 * Verwaltung und Betreuung von Virtualisierungsplattformen (z.B. KVM, VMware).
 * Mitarbeit an der Weiterentwicklung der Systemarchitektur, sowie an Optimierungs- und Performance-Projekten.
 * Implementierung von Backup-Strategien, Sicherheitslösungen und Disaster Recovery-Plänen.
 * Erstellung und Pflege der Systemdokumentation.
 * Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Abteilungen wie Netzwerkadministration, Security und Anwendungsentwicklung, um eine reibungslose Integration von Lösungen sicherzustellen.
