## About the Role

 * Erfahrung im Umgang mit Netzwerkhardware (z. B. Cisco, HP Aruba, Juniper, Fortinet).
 * Gute Kenntnisse in den Bereichen Firewall-Management, VPN-Technologien und Netzwerksicherheit.
 * Erfahrung mit Monitoring-Tools sowie im Bereich Skripterstellung zur Automatisierung von Aufgaben (z. B. PowerShell, Python).
 * Kenntnisse in Cloud-Netzwerkinfrastrukturen (z. B. Microsoft Azure, AWS) sind von Vorteil.
 * IT-Sicherheitszertifikate wie CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+ oder ähnliche sind wünschenswert.
 * Analytische Denkweise, Problemlösungsfähigkeit und eigenverantwortliches Arbeiten.
 * Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.

## Description

* Planung, Installation und Administration von Netzwerkinfrastrukturen (LAN, WAN, WLAN) in einem hochverfügbaren Umfeld.
 * Betreuung und Weiterentwicklung von Netzwerkkomponenten wie Switches, Routern, Firewalls und VPN-Lösungen.
 * Sicherstellung der Netzwerksicherheit durch Implementierung von Firewall-Regeln, IDS/IPS und Netzwerkschutzmaßnahmen.
 * Überwachung und Optimierung der Netzwerkperformance mittels geeigneter Monitoring-Tools (z. B. Nagios, PRTG, SolarWinds).
 * Fehleranalyse und -behebung (Troubleshooting) bei Netzwerkstörungen sowie Erstellen von Workarounds und Lösungsstrategien.
 * Unterstützung bei der Planung und Durchführung von Netzwerkprojekten, wie z. B. Netzwerkmodernisierungen, Standortvernetzungen oder Cloud-Anbindungen.
 * Dokumentation der Netzwerkinfrastruktur, -änderungen und -prozesse.
 * Mitarbeit bei der Erstellung von IT-Sicherheitskonzepten sowie Umsetzung von Datenschutz- und Compliance-Vorgaben.
 * Beratung und Unterstützung von Anwendern und Fachabteilungen bei Fragen zur Netzwerkinfrastruktur.
