· Regular access to an auto auction, dealership, fleet, or repair facility is strongly preferred.

· Experience with automotive scan tools and OBD-II.

· ASE Certification.

## Description

CarDr is seeking a detail-oriented, mechanically inclined Automotive Field Test Specialist to help validate new software releases before they are deployed to customers.

This is not a repair position. It is a hands-on technology validation role where you'll test new software, verify diagnostic accuracy, document findings, and help ensure every release meets CarDr's standards for quality and reliability.

This flexible, part-time position averages 10-15 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform OEM-level diagnostic scans using the CarDr Ultra.

· Test pre-release software in real-world environments.

· Validate new features and verify bug fixes.

· Compare application functionality across Android and Apple devices.

· Document software issues with clear reproduction steps.

· Capture screenshots, photos, and videos when necessary.

· Submit detailed testing reports.

· Work closely with Product and Engineering teams.
