## About the Role

* Understanding of network connectivity, network security, and Wi-Fi environments
 * Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft applications
 * Familiarity with networking concepts such as TCP/IP, SMTP, FTP, SMB, and network ports
 * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
 * Excellent communication and customer service abilities
 * Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
 * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (must be 21 years or older)

Preferred Qualifications

 * Previous field service or networking experience (preferred, not required)
 * Experience supporting Windows desktop operating systems
 * Experience working with IT professionals or managed network environments

Bonus Qualifications

 * Familiarity with Mac OS
 * CompTIA Network+ certification

## Description

Pacific Office Automation is looking for an Entry-Level Field Network Technician to join our growing service team supporting the Bend, OR area.

This is a field-based role where you'll travel to customer locations to install, troubleshoot, and support network-connected office equipment and related technologies. If you enjoy solving technical problems, working directly with customers, and learning new technologies, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

 * Troubleshoot network connectivity and device communication issues
 * Configure and support network-connected office equipment
 * Diagnose hardware, software, and networking problems
 * Communicate with customers to identify issues and provide solutions
 * Work with both technical and non-technical users
 * Document service activities and communicate updates through phone, email, and written reports
 * Travel locally to customer locations throughout the service area
