## About the Role

Seeking a well-rounded Network Engineer with strong Cisco networking expertise and a broad infrastructure background. Ideal candidates will have MSP experience, hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies, and exposure to network automation or scripting., * 4+ years of Cisco network engineering experience

 * Experience with Cisco Switches, Cisco Routers, Cisco Firewalls, Meraki
 * Experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet/FortiGate firewalls
 * Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Subnetting, DNS, DHCP
 * Experience with Routing & Switching, LAN/WAN, VPNs, Wireless Networking
 * Knowledge of Network Security, IDS/IPS, Firewall Administration
 * Experience with Network Monitoring Tools such as LogicMonitor and N-able
 * Experience with Infrastructure Design, implementation, and support
 * Familiarity with Ticketing Systems (ConnectWise preferred)
 * Ability to troubleshoot network, connectivity, and infrastructure issues

Preferred Skills

 * MSP (Managed Service Provider) experience
 * CCNA or CCNP
 * CMNA certification
 * Python and/or PowerShell scripting
 * Experience with Network Automation
 * Capacity planning and performance optimization experience, * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience), * Strong customer service and communication skills
 * Analytical problem-solving abilities
 * Self-motivated and detail-oriented
 * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
 * Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

## Description

* Troubleshoot and resolve network infrastructure issues
 * Deploy, configure, and support Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, and FortiGate environments
 * Monitor network health and proactively address performance concerns
 * Design, implement, and document network solutions
 * Perform network upgrades, changes, testing, and validation
 * Maintain compliance with security standards and best practices
 * Support LAN/WAN, firewall, VPN, and wireless environments
 * Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues
 * Create and maintain technical documentation
 * Participate in an on-call rotation
 * Travel occasionally as needed
