## Description

GoPermit is a full-service permit expediting company specializing in commercial construction and exterior commercial signage. We owe our success to our people and processes, and we are looking for another key member to join our team. The ideal person for the job will be a problem solver with excellent communication skills and impeccable attention to detail. They will have previous sign experience along with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google Workspace. The ability to multitask, meet changing deadlines, and have open communication is essential to the position.

Full-time: 40 hours/week. M-F 8am - 5pm EST.

Our office is a fast paced virtual enviroment and daily attendance on Google Meet is required, * Master Sign Plans, Comprehensive Sign Plans, City of Miami Warrants, Minor Plan Amendments, Design Review Board packages, etc.

 * Draft justification statements, letters of intent, and variance criteria responses.
 * Fill out applications, gather submittal documents, and meet tight legal deadlines.
 * Obtain documents from clients, engineers, and architects to facilitate the application process
 * In-depth site research including municipal code
 * Review plans for compliance with local code and submittal requirements
 * Work closely with the municipal reviewers to stay updated on the status of the projects to ensure they are processed in a timely manner
 * Call building clerks and building, zoning, or planning officials to confirm or clarify information, such as code compliance issues or design-related items
 * Review and manage emails and client requests daily
 * Ensure all internal spreadsheets are updated daily with relevant information
 * Maintain digital filing system and internal processes
 * Attend weekly virtual team meetings; share ideas and participate in feedback
