Preferred** **Experience & Qualifications: + Advanced degree in a technical or related field. + Experience with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR) and payer/provider workflows. + Proficiency with SQL, Python, or equivalent programming languages. + Experience writing product documentation (release notes, user guides). + Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban). + Experience using JIRA and Confluence. + Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification. Technical Requirements: We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. ## Description Product Leadership & Strategy + Lead one or more agile development teams as the primary Product Owner for UM/prior authorization and provider portal applications, setting clear priorities and aligning work with business objectives. + Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap for UM and provider portal solutions in partnership with Product Managers and executive stakeholders. + Translate strategic goals into actionable product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, leveraging data and stakeholder feedback from clinical, operational, and compliance teams. + Champion product discovery, prioritization frameworks, and outcome measurement to maximize business impact in UM and provider portal domains. Technical Expertise & Delivery + Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for UM/prior authorization workflows, provider portal functionality, and healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR). + Oversee creation and maintenance of product documentation, including release notes, user guides, and training materials for UM and provider portal applications. + Own the user acceptance testing process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and stakeholder satisfaction. + Participate in production support processes, including issue reproduction, gap analysis, and resolution for UM and provider portal products. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication + Build strong relationships with clinical operations, provider relations, and engineering teams to ensure UM and portal solutions meet end-user needs. + Surface project risks, communicate changes to delivery timelines, and manage stakeholder expectations across healthcare technology initiatives. + Synthesize complex technical concepts for executive audiences and facilitate decision-making in steering committees. + Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement across teams.
