General Factors: * Depending on project requirements, may be required to work within a compressed schedule; overtime should be expected when schedules demand it. * Willing to travel, if needed. * No Relocation. * Must be able to sit/stand at a desk for long-periods and must be able to lift 20 pounds occasionally. * Must be able to multi-task and rapidly change priorities with limited notice. ## Description Bridge Defense seeks a highly qualified Senior Systems Administrator to join a mission-focused team that maintains applications, services, microservices, Platform as a Service (PaaS), and support services. The effort requires the maintenance and enhancement of an application and underlying services/microservices' application's current capability while identifying future capability needs and eliminating overlaps. The team will continuously improve sustainment and development in order to reinvest resources to provide new capabilities and improve the effectiveness, quality, and robustness of the underlying technology. Our applications are focused on intelligence analysis and collection management directly supporting intelligence analysts and operators across the intelligence community and Combatant Commands. The Systems Administrator is responsible for providing support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems. Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets. Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning. In addition, responsible for the design and implementation of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware. Possess an expert working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Can analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration., * Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks.
