## Description

Looking for a hands-on IT professional who thrives on solving complex technical challenges while supporting a mission-driven organization? Join KVC and play a vital role in keeping systems running smoothly across multiple healthcare locations., As an IT Support Specialist, you will analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve end-user technical issues across hardware, software, network systems, and Electronic Health Records. This role requires strong independent problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a customer-first mindset. This is an on-site position and employee must live within the ST Louis metro area due to travel time and training., * Provide technical support via phone, ticketing system, and in-person field work

 * Troubleshoot desktop hardware, operating systems, software applications, and network connectivity
 * Support and configure Electronic Health Record systems
 * Install, update, and maintain hardware and software
 * Document all work within the support request system
 * Assist with IT projects and system improvements
 * Maintain hardware, software, and spare equipment inventories
 * Participate in on-call rotation as needed
 * Escalate recurring issues to Network Engineers and leadership

Security & Compliance

 * Ensure all work aligns with system security protocols
 * Stay current on cybersecurity threats and mitigation strategies
 * Maintain compliance with HIPAA and Joint Commission standards
