This role leads front-line teams, supports operational excellence, and partners closely with Engineering, Security, and Operations stakeholders to deliver a highly reliable customer environment. * Lead and supervise Critical Facilities Technicians and Operators, ensuring 24x7 operational coverage and adherence to operational procedures * Oversee daily operations of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, power, cooling, and life-safety systems to maintain data center uptime * Ensure compliance with Equinix safety standards, regulatory requirements, and operational policies * Act as an escalation point for incidents, alarms, and abnormal conditions, drive root cause analysis and corrective actions * Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities, including vendor coordination and change management * Partner with Engineering, Construction, Security, and Customer Operations teams to support site initiatives and customer requirements * Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and reports related to incidents, maintenance, and operational performance * Coach, mentor, and develop team members, support performance management and training initiatives * Participate in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational resilience, Equinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
