Preferred * 5+ years of technical experience related to precision agriculture or new technology solutions. * Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) accreditation. * Spanish language proficiency is helpful but not required. * Previous experience as an agriculture service technician. * Background in consulting for irrigation and fertility management. * Familiarity with John Deere vehicles, implements, and advanced precision agriculture systems. Compensation is competitive and based on skill level, proven experience, and knowledge. Education * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Some college coursework in Business Administration, Agronomy, or a related field preferred. Physical Requirements * Must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly. * Ability to work both indoors (shop/office) and outdoors in varying weather conditions. * Requires manual dexterity for handling tools, equipment, and computer systems., Successful applicants will be required to complete a background check, including criminal history and a drug screening, prior to the start of employment. This role is vital to supporting customers with precision farming solutions by combining technical expertise, agronomic knowledge, and exceptional customer service. The Precision Ag Specialist works both in the field and the shop, delivering sales, service, and support for precision agriculture systems while helping customers maximize productivity and efficiency.
