Fundraising Strategy - Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan to meet the organization's financial goals. - Identify and cultivate relationships with individual donors, foundations, and corporate sponsors. - Create and oversee fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives to increase donor engagement. 2. Grant Writing and Management - Research grant opportunities and write compelling proposals to secure funding. - Manage grant applications, reporting, and compliance to ensure adherence to funder requirements. - Maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and deliverables. -This will be a shared duty with the Executive Director. 3. Donor Relations and Stewardship - Establish and maintain relationships with current and potential donors, ensuring timely acknowledgment and appreciation. - Develop and implement strategies for donor retention and upgrading giving levels. - Organize donor recognition events and communications to highlight the impact of contributions. 4. Marketing and Communications - Collaborate with the volunteer communications team to develop materials that promote the organization's mission, programs, and fundraising efforts. - Utilize social media, newsletters, and other channels to engage the community and raise awareness about the organization's work. - Develop compelling storytelling strategies to connect potential donors with the mission of animal rescue. 6.
