This position reports to our IT Hardware Supervisor and is ideal for someone who is dependable, eager to learn, and excited to build a long-term career in IT.

 * Strong customer service and communication skills.
 * A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
 * Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
 * Ability to work well with others.
 * Basic knowledge of Windows computers and Microsoft Office.
 * High school diploma or equivalent.

Bonus Points If You Have:

 * Customer service, retail, or help desk experience.
 * Technical school, college coursework, or IT certifications (such as CompTIA A+).
 * Experience building, repairing, or troubleshooting computers as a hobby or in school.

## Description

As part of our IT team, you'll help support employees with their everyday technology needs, including:

 * Respond to employee IT help desk requests and assist with technical issues.
 * Help troubleshoot computers, laptops, printers, and other office equipment.
 * Set up and prepare new computers and laptops for employees.
 * Assist users with Microsoft Office and other everyday business software.
 * Work with other members of the IT team to solve technical problems.
 * Keep employees informed on the status of their support requests.
 * Record completed work and solutions in our help desk system.
 * Help monitor computer systems and notify senior IT staff if something needs attention.
 * Communicate with equipment and software vendors when additional support is needed.
 * Help keep employees informed about technology updates and system changes.
 * Learn new technologies while gaining hands-on experience in a professional IT environment.
