In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative and clinical support tasks. Your energetic approach will help streamline patient intake, ensure accurate documentation, and facilitate smooth clinic operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent communication skills, and have a passion for healthcare support, this opportunity is perfect for you!, * Prior experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting with clinic experience preferred

 * Strong knowledge of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and health insurance procedures including Medicare verification
 * Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems or familiarity with hospital or dental office management tools is a plus
 * Demonstrated clerical skills including typing (10 key), filing, data entry, and use of Microsoft Office applications for documentation purposes
 * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person while maintaining professionalism under pressure

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

## Description

* Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify their appointment details, and assist with check-in procedures using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
 * Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing clear information and scheduling appointments efficiently while practicing proper phone etiquette
 * Collect patient information accurately, review documentation for completeness, and update electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) in compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies
 * Schedule patient appointments, coordinate care plans, and manage clinic flow to optimize patient experience and operational efficiency
 * Assist with medical billing processes including coding (CPT, ICD-9/10), documentation review, and collection efforts related to medical claims and payments
 * Maintain organized medical records through filing, data entry, and management of electronic health records (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with health information management standards
