Here's what else you'll bring: * Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Design, or a related field. * 6+ years of experience in concept engineering, specifically with concept lead platforms/variants, module selection and modification in the automotive industry. * Proficiency in CAD software such as CATIA V5, Teamcenter, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX, and other design visualization tools. PLM experience is highly appreciated. * Proficiency in office products such as Microsoft Office Suite and JIRA * Familiarity with automotive industry safety standards and regulations including IIHS/NHTSA, SAE, and C/FMVSS * Proven ability to work in a truly cross-functional and global environment * Minimum of High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required for all roles at Scout Motors, Inc. ## Description Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: * Collaborate with the engineering team to conceptualize and develop the range extended electric vehicle platform, which includes the chassis & drive train, battery pack, range extender, and key structural components. * Partner with other concept & systems architect teams to come up with solutions to engineering & functional challenges through creation of 3D CAD packaging proposals. * Critically review available technical systems and propose an engineering improvement &/or customer experience Develop the concept architecture and vehicle integration for the scalable platform.
