This temporary, project-based position is ideal for a third- or fourth-year undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field who is looking to gain real-world development experience. The successful candidate will develop a Python-based application to replace a series of complex legacy Excel workbooks that are no longer maintainable. The new system will improve efficiency, accuracy, and long-term usability while supporting engineering calculations and technical data management. Working alongside experienced Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, the candidate will receive guidance on engineering equations, antenna pattern data, and technical requirements while independently designing, coding, testing, and documenting the new application. This is an excellent opportunity to build a professional portfolio by developing a production-ready engineering tool that will have a lasting impact on the organization.
