## About the Role

Your education and experience include:

 * Bachelor's Degree, associate's degree, Diploma or Technical School Training in ME, EE, Computer Aided Design Technology or related field
 * Proficient in Autocad, CadWorx, and Vault
 * Strong creative mechanical and structural design ability
 * Results oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
 * Commitment to quality, accuracy, and thoroughness
 * Strong verbal and written communication skills
 * Good organizational and planning skills
 * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
 * 2+ years drafting P&IDs and understanding of line types and symbology.
 * 2+ years detailing piping, structural or vessel drawings
 * Knowledge reciprocating natural gas compression packages, oil & gas equipment or modular assemblies including piping and structural components.
 * Experience with SolidWorks

## Description

Reporting directly to the Design Supervisor, this position will be responsible to work in conjunction with the project Engineer to produce P&ID's and the detailed drawings required for each individual project., * Drafting P&IDs under the direction of engineering

 * Detailing construction drawings from 3D models provided by project designers
 * Follow industry and established Company engineering/design standards
 * Work closely with project designers to ensure accuracy of scope
 * Prioritizing project workload to ensure drawing dates are met
 * Accountability for adhering to the project budget for design hours
 * Helping to develop and maintain company design standards and associated documentation
