That spans two layers: the infrastructure and developer platform (CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, build systems, developer sandboxes and preview environments, and the observability that keeps our on-call humane), and the application platform - the framework primitives and abstractions that let product engineers build quickly and with high quality. This is a founding, high-autonomy role on a small and growing team, with room to shape both the technical direction and how AI-assisted development works at Orb., * Own and evolve our developer platform - CI/CD (including safe, progressive delivery), infrastructure-as-code, and the build system across a large multi-service codebase * Build the application-platform primitives - frameworks, abstractions, and paved paths - that let product engineers ship quickly and with high quality * Build tooling that lets engineers and AI agents develop against production-like environments quickly and safely: sandboxes, preview environments, and fast feedback loops * Improve developer-facing observability and on-call health: better signal, fewer pages, faster diagnosis * Push forward our investment in AI-assisted, agent-driven development - the primitives that make it effective and safe * Partner with security to make our infrastructure and workflows safe by default, At Orb, we believe great engineers can learn any stack, so you do not need experience with these specific tools, and we encourage you to apply regardless. * Frontend: Typescript + React + Tailwind CSS * Backend: Python * Datastores: PostgreSQL + Apache Druid+ Clickhouse * Streaming Platforms: Kafka + Spark Streaming * Cloud Platform: AWS ## Related Videos - [Watch Tests Go Brrrr! : Getting Started with Cypress in ReactJS](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/282-watch-tests-go-brrrr-getting-started-with-cypress-in-reactjs) - [Level up your Angular CSS with Tailwind CSS](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/640-level-up-your-angular-css-with-tailwind-css) - [Empowering Thousands of Developers: Our Journey to an Internal Developer Platform](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1519-empowering-thousands-of-developers-our-journey-to-an-internal-developer-platform) - [Shipping Faster with Less: Render on Cloud Hosting, AI Workloads, and the Future of DevOps](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1894-shipping-faster-with-less-render-on-cloud-hosting-ai-workloads-and-the-future-of-devops) - [Level up your Angular CSS with Tailwind CSS](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/366-level-up-your-angular-css-with-tailwind-css) - [From Zero to Hero: NextJS 13 and Tailwind CSS for Beginners](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/766-from-zero-to-hero-nextjs-13-and-tailwind-css-for-beginners) ## Related Articles - [Highest Paying Tech Companies for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/220-highest-paying-tech-companies-for-developers) - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [Find a Developer Job: 12 Best Job Sites For Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/165-find-a-developer-job-12-best-job-sites-for-developers) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline)
