Desired: * ITIL v4 Foundation Certification * Skilled in utilizing best practice ITIL engineering methods * Demonstrated knowledge of incident management, problem management, change management, Knowledge management as well as request fulfillment * Hands-on experience with ServiceNow HTML, CSS, Angular JS, Jelly scripts and Restful API webservices. * Java script, html, or CSS experience, 3 + years of related experience * may vary based on technical training, certification(s), or degree Certification Certified System Administrator (CSA) | ServiceNow - ServiceNow CompTIA Security+ CE | CompTIA - CompTIA Travel Required Less than 10% Citizenship ## Description GDIT is looking for a ServiceNow Software Platform Engineer to maintain the development, test, and production ServiceNow environments as well as support ongoing operations and maintenance activities and projects for the USCENTCOM Information Technology Services (CITS) Program supporting the USCENTCOM J6 in Tampa, FL., * Responsible for ServiceNow system maintenance, workflow development, bug fixes, enhancements, upgrades and assisting with the technical implementation of the tool. * Develop and maintain service catalog items to include states, flows, and UI policies. * Monitor systems stability to prevent service degradation or interruption. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential gaps. * Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reports to provide visibility into portfolio performance, risks, and opportunities. * Support the configuration of workflows, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. * Participate in Scrum process, testing, debugging, and documentation of ServiceNow modules. * Experience with patching and maintaining ServiceNow system solutions in a Linux environment is a plus.
