## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
 * At least 4+ years of experience in software development.
 * Strong knowledge of C++ with at least 3+ years of experience.
 * Experience with Embedded Linux development.
 * Experience developing embedded applications.
 * Knowledge of inter-process communication, multithreading, and socket communication.
 * Good understanding of software development processes and embedded operating systems.
 * Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice to have:

 * Experience with TCP/UDP protocols.
 * Knowledge of Unified Modeling Language (UML).
 * Experience working in Agile environments (SCRUM, SAFe).
 * Experience with Linux Kernel development.

## Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join a Telematics team developing innovative software solutions for the automotive industry. In this role, you will contribute to building connected-car technologies that integrate vehicles into the Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem, working with advanced concepts such as Telematics, 5G, and V2X (vehicle-to-everything).

What you will do:

 * Analyze and understand customer and internal software specifications.
 * Design software components based on requirements and the existing architecture.
 * Develop and maintain embedded software components using C++ on Linux.
 * Perform debugging and root cause analysis, implement fixes, and verify solutions.
 * Participate in code reviews, functional testing, and unit testing activities.
 * Analyze existing embedded software to add features, fix bugs, and optimize performance.
 * Propose optimal technical solutions and contribute to improving development KPIs.
 * Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve technical issues.
 * Support the identification and resolution of product or performance issues.
