## About the Role

* Strong expertise in AWS architecture and cloud-based data engineering solutions.
 * Experience designing and implementing Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and scalable cloud data platforms.
 * Strong programming skills in one or more of the following: Python, Java, Scala, SQL, or R.
 * Experience with modern data technologies such as SQL, NoSQL databases, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and Amazon Kinesis.
 * Experience with AWS Glue and AWS Athena.
 * Deep understanding of data engineering principles, data modeling, and scalable data processing techniques.
 * Knowledge of secure software engineering practices, including developing testable, maintainable, and secure code.
 * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently.
 * Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to contribute effectively in both lead and support roles.

## Description

* Design, build, and maintain cloud-based Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and scalable enterprise data platforms.
 * Develop, optimize, and support ETL/ELT pipelines and enterprise data engineering solutions.
 * Design secure, scalable AWS architectures that align with software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices.
 * Communicate technical architecture decisions, tradeoffs, and risks to both technical and executive stakeholders.
 * Apply data engineering best practices to ensure solutions are secure, reliable, maintainable, and scalable.
 * Support technical activities across the program while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
 * Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, serving in both technical lead and individual contributor roles as needed.
 * Independently research, troubleshoot, and resolve technical challenges using available documentation and industry resources.
