AI-first builder mindset, using tools like Claude, Cursor, v0, Figma Make or similar to explore ideas, prototype, generate code, and improve system workflows. Travel is coordinated in advance. ## Description At Klaviyo, we're building the platform that helps businesses create and deliver personalized customer experiences at scale, powered by first-party data., We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to join the Design System team and help evolve Ascent, Klaviyo's design system. You'll define and scale the reusable components, patterns, tokens, documentation, and standards that help teams ship faster, creating a more consistent and usable product experience across Klaviyo. This role sits at the intersection of product design, engineering, and systems thinking. You'll partner across product teams to improve design-to-code parity, drive adoption, and use AI and automation to reduce manual friction while maintaining a high bar for quality, accessibility, and system integrity. What you'll do * Evolve Ascent's components, patterns, tokens, interaction standards, and documentation across Klaviyo's product surfaces. * Partner with engineering to improve design-to-code parity and ensure coded components reflect design intent. * Identify inconsistencies, gaps, and duplicated patterns across product teams, then turn them into scalable system improvements. * Own the end-to-end design process from conceptualization to discovery, and in some cases all the way to implementation. * Support adoption through clear guidance, design critiques, spec reviews, office hours, workshops, and release communications.
