## About the Role

* 8+ years of experience in Java development, preferably in fintech, payments, or platform services.
 * Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
 * Experience with payment gateways, transaction processing, or digital wallets.
 * Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
 * Familiarity with message brokers (e.g., Kafka) and API security (OAuth2, JWT).
 * Ability to manage stakeholders and monitor server performance., * Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
 * Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
 * Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
 * Attention to detail and a passion for building high-quality software.

Qualification And Education:

 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

## Description

* Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based backend services and APIs for platform and payment processing systems.
 * Implement secure and scalable solutions for transaction processing, payment gateways, and service orchestration.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
 * Identify internal and external dependencies.
 * Lead and strategize deployments of applications.
 * Integrate with third-party payment providers, banking APIs, and internal microservices.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high reliability.
 * Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning.
 * Work in Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
 * Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging are in place.
 * Maintain version control and branching strategies using Git.
 * Collaborate with offshore team members regularly.

Nice to Have:

 * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
 * Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
 * Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK, Grafana).
