## About the Role

* Experience developing automated tests using C#, .NET, and NUnit
 * Experience using Playwright for web UI automation
 * Experience working with APIs and backend testing techniques
 * Knowledge of SQL for test data validation and database testing
 * Experience working with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and source control systems
 * Familiarity with PowerShell scripting
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 * Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment as well as independently when required
 * Good understanding of test automation frameworks, methodologies, and best practices
 * Experience producing test documentation and reporting on testing progress and outcomes
 * Exposure to the Finance sector and Life & Pensions industry would be advantageous
 * A genuine interest in technology, software quality, and test automation

Desirable:

 * ISTQB Certification would be advantageous

## Description

Reporting to the Test Automation Lead, the Test Automation Analyst will:

 * Review requirements, specifications, and solution designs to ensure appropriate test coverage
 * Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for UI, API, and backend testing
 * Create reusable and maintainable automated test assets to support regression testing
 * Integrate automated testing into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
 * Execute automated and manual testing activities where appropriate
 * Manage defects, analyse root causes, and work collaboratively with delivery teams to resolve issues
 * Ensure full traceability of testing activities against requirements and specifications
 * Produce test reports and provide progress updates to Test Leads, Managers, and project stakeholders
 * Create and maintain formal test documentation, including test plans, completion reports, framework documentation, and testing standards
 * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and promote automation best practices across the organisation
