## About the Role

* Strong foundation in SQL (querying, joins, aggregations, analytical functions)
 * Proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, scripting and automation)
 * Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related field
 * Eagerness to learn, strong problem-solving attitude and attention to detail
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 * Comfortable with occasional out-of-hours support as part of a rota

Nice-to-Have

 * Understanding of data warehousing concepts
 * Exposure to BI platforms like Strategy & Power BI
 * Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Git, or monitoring tools
 * Experience with retail or transactional data
 * Interest in AI tools for data engineering and analytics

## Description

You will support our data engineering and analytics delivery, with a primary focus on maintaining, enhancing and building the processes feeding our client's Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW). This is a learning-oriented role with strong mentorship, ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals., * Assist in monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting ELT/integration processes that feed the EDW for our retail clients

 * Write and optimize SQL queries for data validation, issue diagnosis, and basic transformations
 * Develop and maintain Python scripts for data processing, automation, and support tasks
 * Perform basic data quality checks, reconciliation, and analytics
 * Support report development and enhancements within Strategy (previously MicroStrategy) & Power BI
 * Participate in our rotating support/on-call rota (with full senior guidance)
 * Collaborate with senior engineers and document processes
