## About the Role

* Abgeschlossene Ausbildung oder Studium im Bereich Informatik, Netzwerktechnik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation.
 * Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Bereich Netzwerkadministration und -design, idealerweise in großen IT-Infrastrukturen.
 * Fundierte Kenntnisse in den Bereichen Routing, Switching, Firewall-Technologien, VPN, WLAN, und VoIP.
 * Erfahrung in der Administration von Netzwerkprotokollen (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
 * Kenntnisse in Netzwerksicherheitsstandards und Tools (z.B. Cisco ASA, Checkpoint, Fortinet).
 * Erfahrung mit Monitoring- und Analyse-Tools (z.B. Wireshark, Nagios, SolarWinds).
 * Zertifizierungen wie Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE oder vergleichbare sind von Vorteil.
 * Selbstständige und strukturierte Arbeitsweise, gepaart mit Teamfähigkeit und Kommunikationsstärke.
 * Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.

## Description

* Planung, Implementierung und Wartung der Netzwerk-Infrastruktur (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN) in einem heterogenen IT-Umfeld.
 * Überwachung und Analyse der Netzwerkauslastung sowie Sicherstellung der Netzwerkperformance und -sicherheit.
 * Konfiguration und Administration von Netzwerkkomponenten (z.B. Router, Switches, Firewalls, Load-Balancer).
 * Troubleshooting und Fehlerbehebung bei Netzwerkproblemen sowie Durchführung von Netzwerkdiagnosen.
 * Erstellen von Netzwerkkonzepten und -architekturen für neue Projekte, inklusive der Implementierung und Optimierung bestehender Systeme.
 * Sicherstellung der Netzwerksicherheit durch Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systeme (IDS/IPS) und andere Sicherheitsmechanismen.
 * Unterstützung bei der Implementierung von Virtualisierungstechnologien und Cloud-Integration.
 * Dokumentation der Netzwerkinfrastruktur und Pflege der technischen Unterlagen.
 * Zusammenarbeit mit internen IT-Teams und externen Dienstleistern zur Optimierung der Netzwerkprozesse.
