## About the Role

* Abgeschlossenes Studium oder Ausbildung im Bereich Informatik, Netzwerktechnik oder vergleichbare Qualifikation.
 * Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Netzwerktechnik, idealerweise als Senior Network Engineer oder Netzwerkadministrator.
 * Tiefgehende Kenntnisse in Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet oder Palo Alto.
 * Erfahrung mit Firewall-Systemen (Cisco ASA, FortiGate, Check Point, Palo Alto).
 * Fundiertes Wissen in Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, VLAN, MPLS, QoS, SDN).
 * Kenntnisse in Netzwerkautomatisierung (Ansible, Python, Terraform) von Vorteil.
 * Erfahrung mit Cloud-Netzwerken (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) wünschenswert.
 * Zertifizierungen wie CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, PCNSE oder vergleichbare Herstellerzertifikate von Vorteil.
 * Selbstständige, strukturierte Arbeitsweise und hohe Problemlösungskompetenz.
 * Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.

## Description

* Planung, Design und Implementierung von Netzwerkarchitekturen für Unternehmens- und Rechenzentrumsumgebungen.
 * Administration, Wartung und Optimierung von Netzwerkinfrastrukturen (LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, Firewalls, Load Balancer).
 * Betreuung und Weiterentwicklung von Cisco-, Juniper-, Aruba- oder Palo Alto-Netzwerkkomponenten.
 * Durchführung von Netzwerk-Monitoring, Fehleranalysen und Troubleshooting zur Sicherstellung eines stabilen und sicheren Betriebs.
 * Implementierung von Security-Maßnahmen und Netzwerksegmentierung nach aktuellen Sicherheitsstandards.
 * Automatisierung von Netzwerkprozessen durch Scripting (z. B. Python, Ansible, Bash).
 * Zusammenarbeit mit internen IT-Teams und externen Dienstleistern zur Umsetzung von Projekten.
 * Dokumentation der Netzwerkinfrastruktur und Erstellung von Konzepten zur Weiterentwicklung und Optimierung.
