The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining analytics solutions that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role works closely with business partners to gather requirements, build scalable BI datasets, create dashboards and reports, and maintain the underlying data infrastructure that powers business insights. The BI Developer also performs complex data analysis, ensures data quality, and supports client-facing reporting needs. Essential Functions: Data Analysis & Insights * Analyze, interpret, and visualize trends or patterns in complex data sets to support business decisions. * Perform data quality reviews and data assessments to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities. * Generate ad-hoc reports for internal stakeholders and external clients under tight deadlines. Business Intelligence Development * Design, develop, deploy, and manage Power BI/Tableau datasets, dashboards, and paginated reports. * Build effective, user-friendly visualizations that meet business requirements and align with reporting standards. * Maintain and enhance existing BI solutions to improve performance, usability, and data accuracy. SQL Development & Database Management * Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from enterprise data systems. * Build, maintain, and enhance SQL Server stored procedures to support automated reporting and data pipelines. * Enhance and troubleshoot existing SQL queries and database logic to improve performance and reliability. Cross-Functional Collaboration * Collaborate with business partners across departments to capture reporting requirements, clarify data needs, and design effective BI solutions. * Serve as a key technical liaison between business teams, IT, and data stakeholders. * Interact with client contacts regularly to deliver reporting, understand needs, and provide support.
