Special Knowledge/Skills:

 * Knowledge of operating systems:
 * Microsoft Windows 10
 * Mac OS X 10.9+
 * iOS 7+
 * Apple hardware including iPad, iPod, iMac, Macbook Air, Apple TV
 * HP and Dell (Latitude and Optiplex) systems
 * Knowledge of computer hardware, software and imaging practices
 * Ability to install, maintain, and repair computers and peripherals, including printers, document cameras, projectors, interactive whiteboards, wireless slates, security cameras, and VoIP phones
 * Mandatory training and certifications in job duties will be required

Experience:

 * Two years of computer related experience and general knowledge of computer and network maintenance

 * Ability to work with people in a positive, friendly and helpful manner; skilled in organizational and time management

 * Operate tools and equipment according to prescribed safety procedures.

## Description

* Assist Technology department in performing hardware and software inventories.
 * Diagnose, troubleshoot and solve hardware and software problems on Windows and OS X based computer systems.
 * Diagnose and repair equipment, including printers, Apple TV, projectors, interactive whiteboards, document cameras,
 * wireless slates, security cameras, and VoIP Phones.
 * Deploy computers and peripherals to district standards
 * Relocate computer hardware, peripherals, and equipment as needed.
 * Assist with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of data communications circuits and equipment.
 * Service equipment according to established preventive maintenance schedule.
 * Maintain accurate updated records of preventive maintenance.
 * Maintain accurate records of time and materials required to perform repairs and service.
 * Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
 * Perform other duties as assigned., * Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing and carrying.
 * Correct unsafe conditions in the work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to the supervisor
 * immediately.
