## About the Role

Do you have experience in Ethernet?, * BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Physics or 4+ years of industry experience.

 * Proficient in C/C++ programming for device interfaces and best practices for a Linux environment developing hardware interfaces
 + Read ADC/DAC and GPIO, switches and controllers
 + Serial, CAN, and Ethernet interface encoding/decoding
 * Proficient in industry standard development tools and processes git, CI/CD pipelines, peer review
 * Record of writing clean software for complex systems
 * Ability to adapt and troubleshoot in a dynamic R&D environment

Nice to Have:

 * Experience in the aerospace, robotics, or performance vehicles industries
 * Proficient in Python and shell scripting
 * Familiarity with nix build system
 * Experience with SQL databases, especially for system logging with sqlite
 * Experience building physics-based simulators and visualization tools
 * Experience with multi-process messaging systems like ZeroMQ and MQTT
 * Familiarly with Jira, Gitlab, Confluence and Agile processes
 * Experience in the telecommunications or RF connectivity
 * Experience developing user interfaces for flight or space operations
 * Experience setting up networking and writing deployment and monitoring scripts
 * Experience with A* and other path planning algorithms
 * Experience with creating and tuning cost functions for practical decision making
