This dynamic, supervisory role will have your analytical mindset gathering and aggregating data to establish maintenance needs, track performance metrics, and forecast budgets and capital planning expenditures. You will create and utilize data dashboards to advance precision when tracking KPI's like labor resources, operational efficiencies and costs, and asset lifecycles. Your knowledge and proficiency in software applications such as SQL Server Management Studio, Power BI, SCADA, Hach WIMS, Infor public sector suite, and Excel, along with advanced proficiency in SQL and Virtual Basic (VB) scripting, will be the foundation for analyzing, managing, and interpreting critical infrastructure and end-user data. Core daily responsibilities: * Design, develop, guide, and manage the implementation of infrastructure asset management programs including the development of concepts, procedures, guidelines, analytical methods, business methods, decision making systems, and data collection methods. * Administer an operational division's asset management program with a lowest life-cycle cost approach. * Plan work to be accomplished, set program goals, and prepare preliminary budget information. * Supervise and coordinate activities of a designated unit; determine work procedures, prepare work schedules and determine methods for expediting workflow; assign, review and approve the work of subordinate staff. * Provide technical expertise and assistance to subordinates and other department staff regarding policies, procedures and methods related to asset management. * Review and provide quality control for the reports, products, and practices produced by subordinates, if applicable. * Oversee the work of contractors used for the development, improvement, and/or implementation of asset management systems. * Perform technical research as related to specific programs or systems and presents findings in verbal or written format to superiors, co-workers or the general public. * Convey technical information to others and lead technical meetings with engineering, maintenance, operations, administrative, and planning staff., President's Day - Third Monday in February Memorial Day - Last Monday in May Juneteenth - June 19 Independence Day - July 4 Labor Day - First Monday in September Veteran's Day - November 11 Thanksgiving Day - Fourth Thursday in November & Friday after Christmas Day - December 25 Personal Holidays: Regular full-time and regular part-time employees, and employees occupying limited duration positions, shall also receive two additional paid personal holidays. Paid personal holidays shall only accrue for those employees on County payroll as of January 1 of each year or the first work day following January 1 and must be taken during the calendar year in which it was accrued. Furlough: Some Pierce County employees may be designated to receive 10 "furlough" days per year in lieu of holidays. Furlough days are available for use on January 1 and must be scheduled and taken within the calendar year. Employees who leave employment with Pierce County must reimburse the employer for used furlough days based upon the number of remaining holidays. Sick Leave: Sick leave accrues on a bi-weekly basis, at the rate of one day per month.
