## About the Role

We're looking for candidates with experience supporting and troubleshooting:

 * Windows 10/11
 * Desktop and laptop hardware
 * Microsoft 365 and Office applications
 * Active Directory and Group Policy
 * Windows Server and Hyper-V
 * Google Chromebooks and Google Workspace
 * Printers and print management
 * Device deployment and imaging
 * Mobile Device Management (MDM)
 * Networking, switches, Wi-Fi and patching
 * Antivirus and endpoint security
 * Interactive classroom technology (touchscreens, projectors, smartboards)

Experience within the education sector is beneficial but not essential.

## Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional IT Support Engineer to join a growing IT team, providing onsite support to a school in Thetford. It is an initial 4-month contract role with an option to become permanent., This is a field-based role where you'll work directly with customers, delivering day-to-day IT support, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining IT infrastructure., * Provide onsite and remote IT support.

 * Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
 * Manage and update support tickets with clear documentation.
 * Keep customers informed on progress and resolution of issues.
 * Prioritise and escalate tickets where required.
 * Carry out routine IT maintenance tasks.
 * Identify and report potential opportunities for additional IT solutions.
