Demonstrated experience with one or more of the following automation technologies: GitLab/Git Pipeline automation Automation and scripting Kubernetes Desired Skills The successful candidate may also have demonstrated experience with: ArgoCD Ansible, Strong technical expertise in coding, scripting, and automation tools; solid understanding of cloud technologies, containers, and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to information security and ability to ensure DevSecOps practices comply with these standards. ## Description The Global Edge Consultants, LLC is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer who is excited to incorporate new technologies into the software development process and own critical elements of secure development infrastructure. The successful candidate will maintain and enhance development environments, perform system administration tasks in support of engineering efforts, and operate confidently to customer specifications in a highly secure setting. Strong documentation skills are a plus, as this role will support clear, auditable DevSecOps and security practices across teams., Maintain and improve development infrastructure supporting secure software delivery and mission requirements. Perform system administration functions to support development and integration activities. Develop, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with a strong focus on integrating security controls and automated testing. Leverage automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI and similar) to efficiently embed security into build, test, and deploy workflows. Work with cloud technologies, containers, and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes to support secure, scalable platforms. Apply deep security knowledge to threat modeling, risk assessment, and security testing activities. Collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to identify and address security and operational challenges. Document architectures, configurations, procedures, and security controls in a clear and maintainable manner.
