Desired Qualifications * Strong programming and scripting skills in JavaScript, C#, C++ and Java. * Experience with Azure DevOps, Jupyter Notebooks, or Project Management Systems. * Proficiency in Real Time historian data and database technologies. * Specialized experience in various Data Science domains, such as Predictive Maintenance, Forecasting, Real Time streaming analytics, Image Analysis leveraging deep learning methodologies, and optimization. * Experience in Polymers manufacturing or Chemical Industry work. * Understanding of Business Development and R&D development. Competencies Build Partnerships Drive Innovation Grow Capabilities Promote Inclusion Motivational Fit Technical Skills ## Description The Junior Data Scientist is responsible for providing Development engineering support to LyondellBasell's APS businesses. The successful candidate will work with appropriate internal applications including but not limited to Microsoft Power Platforms, Snowflake, Accolade, Automate 360, PLM/SAP, and others. Drive the improvement of processes and systems used to manage data and information but creating a one UI system to both capture data and send to the respective systems. Lead UAT and Enhancements of One UI to better streamline business process and increase Speed to Market. Be a key part in driving APS Speed to Market and digital Transformation 2.0. Documenting all work using correct current commenting and governance and where documentation is limited or lacking to build accurate and scalable knowledge centers. Share best practices outside APS and scale Power Platform development to other areas during slow period of configuration.
