KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED: · Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs, another Federal agency, or a regulated enterprise environment. · Experience with Appian or integration between cloud-native services and low-code workflow platforms. · Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Kibana, CloudWatch, or similar technologies. · Understanding of healthcare interoperability, appointment scheduling, or other mission-critical workflow systems. EDUCATION: · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. CLEARANCE: · Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. ## Description We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to support delivery of a mission-focused, cloud-native, event-driven platform for the Department of Veterans Affairs. This role develops AWS-based microservices, Kafka/MSK event integrations, and real-time WebSocket capabilities supporting appointment, scheduling, and workflow functions.
