Prior experience in cloud software engineering or embedded systems in associated industries is an advantage., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or a combination of equivalent experience and education * 3+ years experience as Full Stack Engineer, leveraging object oriented language(s), Java/ Spring Framework, C++ or equivalent * 3+ years developing REST/Queue based interfaces * 3+ years developing APIs using back-end technologies such as Node.js, Go, Python * 3+ working with relational and/or NoSQL databases, database design, and SQL Queries * 3+ years working with cloud platforms like GCP, Azure, or AWS * 3+ years implementing front-end user interfaces using frameworks such as React or Angular Even better if you have... * Master's degree in associated field * Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies. The Software Release & Deployment function comprises of highly-collaborative, well-aligned teams of software engineers dedicated to delivering world class Vehicle Software Update systems. The Full-Stack Software Developer has specific responsibility for driving the development of Ford's global release & update capability across millions of vehicles. This includes delivering Over The Air (OTA) software updates to our customers at scale. We are customer obsessed and want to understand and exceed customer expectations.
