You are responsible for driving the technical vision, governance, and continuous improvement of integration technologies, ensuring they meet current and future business needs. You work across a diverse ecosystem of integration platforms, including message brokers, event streaming, API management, and managed file transfer solutions (e.g., MQ, Kafka, Axway, AMQP Broker, API Platform). Reporting to the Team lead of Integration Services What is your role at SNCB? As a Technical Architect you will take on the following key responsibilities: Architecture & Strategy * Define and maintain the target architecture for Integration Services. * Design and evolve integration building blocks to support business projects. * Maintain and update technology roadmaps for both existing and emerging integration solutions. * Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and long-term IT strategy. Technology Evolution & Innovation * Research, evaluate, and recommend new integration technologies and patterns. * Support the evolution of existing platforms (e.g., performance, scalability, security improvements). * Drive adoption of modern integration paradigms such as event-driven architecture and API-first design. Governance & Processes * Contribute to and improve internal processes and standards within Integration Services. Delivery Support * Support project teams in selecting and implementing appropriate integration solutions. * Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure robust solutions.
