## About the Role

* 3-5 Years of Experience decommissioning + replacing + configuring Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and Wireless Access Points (WAPs)
 * 1-3 Years of Experience Racking/Stacking servers or working in a datacenter environment
 * Good communication + documentation skills are necessary

Additional Skills & Qualifications
In addition to standard installer skillsets, candidates should possess the following:

 * Cable installation and termination (fiber and copper)
 * Rack and stack of network equipment
 * Basic troubleshooting and testing of network connections
 * Ability to read and follow network diagrams and installation plans
 * Familiarity with structured cabling standards and labeling

Candidates with networking certifications (e.g., Network+, CCNA, Aruba, Versa) will be preferred.

## Description

* Organizes and directs network installations on site surveys. Assesses and documents current site network configuration and user requirements
 * Designs and optimizes network topologies
 * Directs and leads preparation of engineering plans and site installation Technical Design Packages
 * Develops installation schedules.
 * Mobilizes network installation team.
 * Directs and leads preparation of drawings documenting configuration changes at each site
 * Prepares site installation and test reports. Coordinates post installation operations and maintenance support.

 * This position requires an active DoD Clearance (Secret, Top Secret, Top Secret/SCI) or the ability to be obtain an (Interim Secret, Interim Top Secret)
 * Because an active or interim DoD clearance is required, U.S. Citizenship is required
