As a trusted name in payments, we partner with thousands of institutions to increase access to financial services and protect transactions for hundreds of millions of consumers and small businesses. Positions located in Scottsdale, San Francisco, Chicago, or New York follow a hybrid work model to allow for a more collaborative working environment. Candidates responding to this posting must independently possess the eligibility to work in the United States, for any employer, at the date of hire. This position is ineligible for employment Visa sponsorship. Overall Purpose As a Senior UX Designer on the UX Design and Research team, you will work across Zelle® and Certos product initiatives - designing experiences, contributing to UX standards, and partnering closely with product, engineering, and financial institution partners to bring well-considered, trustworthy design to market. This is a hands-on IC role. You will own design work end-to-end: from understanding user needs, to shaping flows and interactions, to delivering polished, production-ready work. What makes this role distinct is the breadth - you will develop fluency across a payments and identity ecosystem that very few designers get to work inside. We are looking for someone with strong craft, genuine curiosity about how financial systems work, and the drive to do their best work in a complex, high-stakes environment. Hunger and range matter more here than a long title history. Essential Functions * Design across Zelle® and CertosTM product surfaces - consumer-facing flows, partner-facing guidelines, and everything in between * Translate complex payment and identity concepts into experiences that feel simple, clear, and trustworthy to end users * Build wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes from early concept through delivery * Contribute to UX guidelines and standards that partner financial institutions implement across the Zelle® network * Participate in user research and usability testing; turn findings into clear design decisions * Share work in critiques, give and receive feedback constructively, and help raise the craft bar across the team * Stay close to the competitive landscape - understanding how peers in payments and e-commerce are solving similar problems ## Related Videos - [UX is a fullstack job!](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1020-ux-is-a-fullstack-job) - [Coffee with Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/354-coffee-with-developers) - [Boost Productivity with AI: Figma & Playwright MCP Workflows - Aris Markogiannakis](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1768-boost-productivity-with-ai-figma-playwright-mcp-workflows-aris-markogiannakis) - [Fireside Chat with Kris Rasmussen, CTO at Figma](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/982-fireside-chat-with-kris-rasmussen-cto-at-figma) - [Kill Your WordPress.
