## About the Role

* Een afgeronde hbo- of wo-opleiding, bijvoorbeeld in Geo-informatie, Geografie, Geomatics of vergelijkbaar;
 * Minimaal 3 jaar relevante werkervaring als GIS-specialist, GIS-adviseur of vergelijkbare functie;
 * Ervaring met Esri ArcGIS Pro en ArcGIS Online;
 * Kennis van FME, Python of SQL is een pré;
 * Je bent analytisch, communicatief sterk en denkt graag mee over verbeteringen.

## Description

Als GIS-Adviseur ben je de schakel tussen data, techniek en de gebruikersorganisatie. Je vertaalt geografische informatie naar bruikbare inzichten en adviseert collega's en opdrachtgevers over de inzet van GIS. Afhankelijk van de opdrachtgever werk je aan projecten binnen de overheid, ingenieursbureaus of de energietransitie.

Je houdt je onder andere bezig met:

 * Het beheren, analyseren en visualiseren van geografische data;
 * Het adviseren over GIS-oplossingen en datakwaliteit;
 * Het ontwikkelen en optimaliseren van GIS-processen;
 * Het maken van kaarten, dashboards en ruimtelijke analyses;
 * Het samenwerken met collega's uit verschillende disciplines.
