Along with the technical aptitude, this role is client facing, and the individual needs to also possess excellent communication, critical thinking, and other soft skills to ensure high client satisfaction. * Strong understanding of Laboratory Informatics Systems and how they interact with other systems at customer level. * Strong planning and problem-solving skills; knows when to engage other people in the organization to resolve customer's issues in a timely matter. * Effectively communicates with highly IT technical individuals and people without a technical background both at customer and organization's multiple levels. * This role impacts customer satisfaction and revenue generation as the successful implementation of the informatics solution is fundamental for new customers to be up and running successfully. * Assess information to create implementation plan and partners with other informatics specialist to ensure smooth transition to implementation. * Sound understanding of diagnostics laboratory workflows and related technologies * Relevant hands-on experience and technical expertise in implementing, configuring and integrating laboratory information systems, middleware and/or analyzer management systems, or inventory management systems used in diagnostics laboratories * Demonstrate technical proficiency and leadership in solutions design, systems architecture, implementation planning, problem resolution, et al, specifically with regards one or more laboratory systems mentioned earlier, and delivering customer value, * Bachelor's degree in computer science; information systems; medical technology; or related field. * 2 years of informatics technical application experience in hospital or laboratory settings. * Minimum of 3 years of systems/instrument software integration and support experience. * Must be able to travel up to 80%., * Previous experience in Lab Operations * Master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Medical or Hospital Informatics or related disciplines. * At least 2 years of experience working on site with customer facing solutions. * 3 or more years of experience installing, configuring and/ or maintaining diagnostics laboratory informatics applications * At least 2 years of experience with utilizing analytical skills in informatics using various tools. * Proven ability to execute assigned tasks with a high degree of commitment and quality, independently, with ownership and accountability for solving complex problems * Experience database management and healthcare interface experience or relevant comparable experience. ## Related Videos - [Empowering Retail Through Applied Machine Learning](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/976-empowering-retail-through-applied-machine-learning) - [Microservices?
